Tennis
The tennis court is free to use and doesn’t need to be pre-booked, just turn up and play. However, we do ask that players stick to an on-the-hour change-over – if other people are waiting to play then please let them, if not please continue to keep on playing.
If you find the tennis courts are locked, please find a park warden.
Table Tennis
Bats and balls are available to hire from the café for a £5 refundable deposit
Fitness Equipment
Outdoor fitness is all the rage so why not join in. There are five pieces of equipment to use, all aimed at developing different aspects of your fitness. Instructions are provided on the equipment but don’t forget a warm-up and warm-down; a jog round the park would be ideal.
Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA)
The MUGA area is marked out for five-a-side football and basketball at both ends so either one game, or two separate games can be played at the same time. Please be respectful of each other, let others have a go, and keep it clean.
Play Equipment
There is a range of play equipment catering for different age ranges which all meet the current safety requirements. The under 6’s play area is fenced so it’s safe to let the little ones run around. It’s located near to the car park and Park Centre. There is more challenging equipment further into the park, around the MUGA, which includes an aerial slide, climbing rock and Mirram slide.
