Hillworth Park has been named as one of the best parks in Britain!
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a prestigious Green Flag for the tenth year running! The award recognises and highlights that people in Devizes are benefiting from a green space of the highest quality.
Officers met with a Green Flag judge back in May to talk about the commitment to the upkeep of the park and how we deliver a range of community events that visitors can enjoy. The Park received the prestigious Green Flag Award in July. The award, handed out by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, recognises and rewards the best parks and green spaces across the country. A green flag flying overhead is a sign to the public that the space boasts the highest possible standards, is beautifully maintained and has excellent facilities.
